Superior Business Communications was founded in 1979 as an enterprise dedicated to providing state-of the-art dictation and court recording solutions to the medical, legal, court, and governmental markets, along with the best local service and support available. At that time, the market was dominated by tape based products. We began our journey in 1979 as an authorized Pro Business Dealer for Sony's dictation and court recording products. Over the years, as our customers and markets have changed, Superior Business Communications has expanded our product lines to meet the needs of our customers and to provide them with the best and most advanced solutions available.

In order to provide you with the best possible service and support we maintain fully staffed and stocked service and support departments in Reno and Las Vegas. No calling an 800 number and no shipping your equipment across the country.

In 1990, with the advent of PC based dictation and recording systems, we became the first company in Nevada to offer open, PC based dictation systems using computer industry standards. Providing the first, PC based, open architecture dictation systems at a time when expensive, proprietary systems were the only option.

In 1992 Superior Business Communications became the authorized representative for Racal Recorders. Racal Recorders has since been purchased by Nice Systems. Superior Business Communications is now the representative for Nice Systems Public Safety Recording Solutions.

In 2003 Superior Business Communications added Olympus and Philips digital portable recorders to our line of quality solutions.

2003 also marked the introduction of Fusion Voice Text and Speech; a complete, integrated dictation, text processing soluiton featuring backend and front end speech recognition solutions. Fusion will increase the productivity of your transcription department by 30% to 45%. In 2004 Superior Business Communications added Verint's AudioLog Call Center Suite of Products. Verint provides complete contact center recording and evaluaiton solutions.

In 2007 we added BingHand's Digital Dictation solution for the legal industry.
